We (my wife, our two friends, & myself) recently finished the Camino from Sarria to Santiago De Compostela (10/20/2024-10/25/2024). We then took a van with others from Santiago to Finisterre (10/26/2024).
What an experience; words really cannot explain or describe the journey.
Tips for this time of year:
1. Get a backpack cover (helps prevents your pack (and the contents within) from getting wet due to the rain).
2. Rain jacket that is breathable (i.e., gortex).
3. A good pair of hiking shoes (water resistant/proof).
I can now check this off my bucket list.
