Camino Km credits in Texas

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
Credited if you walk the Ingles. My understanding is that they aren’t “credited” for any other routes (eg you can’t do the Missions and then start the Frances at Portomarin and get a Compostela).
Ime not sure if i used the correct terms?
But ill trust your wisdom!

Last time i was there around the trail was about 40 years ago...got curious and looked it up for a photo walk this fall
Thanks!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

The Mission Trail starting in San Antonio ,Texas is a approximately 30 km Trail where 5 Missions are visited
The 30k are credited toward the Camino

The Camino de San Antonio Missions isn’t affiliated with the NPS. For more information use this link. I’ve walked it and used the credit for a Compostela from A Coruna.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
A quick question: is the point that you can claim the 30 km in Texas and then just walk 70 km towards Santiego? In other words, I am wondering why this would count/be considered or be an issue if you walk at least the last 100 km to Santiego to get the "Compostela". Thanks.

There is a special exception to the usual 100km rule for one specific route - the branch of the Camino Ingles which begins in A Coruña. This would have been the preferred route for many medieval pilgrims arriving by ship but it is too short to qualify for a Compostela under the usual rules. The cathedral agreed a special exemption some years ago where those who walked at least 25km of a pilgrim route in their own country and had a stamped credencial as evidence could walk from A Coruña and still receive a Compostela. This was taken up very enthusiastically by the Irish Camino association amongst others. The exemption does not apply to any other route.

"
The El Camino de San Antonio Missions is a program offered by the Archdiocese of San Antonio that encourages and supports pilgrimage to these sacred sites. Today, the four missions churches still exist as active parishes. If you are interested in thiis program please visit the Padre Margil Pilgrimage Center located directly behind Mission Concepción, or their website.

San Antonio is the only place outside Europe where one can officially begin walking the El Camino de Santiago. Pilgrims who walk the entire route in San Antonio receive 30 km credit toward the Camino Ingles (English route) along the El Camino de Santiago, making El Camino de San Antonio part of an official route of the Camino in Spain."

It clearly says here that the credit on the USA mission walk in San Antonio only applies for the Ingles.
