Camino in Thailand

A selection of Camino Jewellery
This is probably a bit off topic, but I recently walked a mini Camino in Chiang Mai, Thailand:

I'm considering walking another longer one too.
Has anyone else walked in Thailand?
If so would love to hear your feedback.
Cheers!
Nev :)
Hi Nev. Interesting to see your post and your website. I was struck as I am living in Thailand for the next 3-4 years. Only just arrived and done no walking except lots around Bangkok. I was in Doi Suthep last week - 2 hours free on a work trip - but didn't walk up. Let me know if you discover any longer walks in thailand.

Hi Andrew!

Thanks for visiting my site.

Thailand is a very positive place and I hope you have a wonderful time over the next few years living in the land of smiles :-)

I will definitely update if I find another walk.
Currently I'm milling over either walking up to Pai, walking to Bangkok (both from Chiang Mai) or heading to Cambodia and walking there as I have read that the trails in Cambodia are meant to be more established.

Wishing you a lovely evening and Buen Camino!

Nev :-)

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Sorry Nev not to have replied. I haven't logged in for a while. If you are ever in Bangkok maybe we could have a coffee/beer and talk about caminos in Spain and here!

Hi there Andrew.

I'm currently in Siem Reap, preparing for the walk to Bangkok (via Trat and Pattaya) so I can get some beach scene in on this trip.
My flight leaves Bangkok December 16th so meeting for a coffee before I leave will be great.

You can feel free to get in touch through my website www.mycaminosantiago.com as I don't think I will have the luxury of time and @ to go back to this site until I reach Bangkok. Will be great to meet and chat about Caminos.

In the meantime have a great day and if you r interested then this is what a pilgrim's face looks like after eating fried Tarantula and snake:
