Camino de norde

HI all,
I did the Frances last year for two weeks and loved it during April. I am considering the norde, how is it in August ? Is it supper busy and generally how is the weather ? Is there another Camino route which is more scenic ?
Thanks in advance

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I walked the second half in August last year starting at Ribadesella. Sunny nearly every day, often quite hot but no crazy heat, the coast being moderated by sea breezes and there were lots of lovely places to swim. Albergues generally full by mid-afternoon (depending on their size) but often had overflow rooms or else there'd be other options nearby - but more complicated if you arrive on a festa day. There was another thread recently talking about August and I think the view was that the first half might be a bit more challenging going through resorts like San Sebastian, Castro Urdiales and Laredo - which will likely be heaving. So it worked for me and I'd be quite happy doing the same thing again.
