Time of past OR future Camino
August 2024 - October 2024 (Frances)
Hi All! I’m on the Camino right now and keep seeing amazing Camino cycling jerseys. Does anyone know where in Spain or Santiago I could find them? I’m currently in Portomarin, enroute to Santiago for the 29th.

Any help would be awesome!

Erin

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Velocipedo in Rua de San Pedro have them in their window on Google Street View. There is also a shop with a wider range on the Rua do Franco but can't recall the name. Its the same side as Correos Office and further down from the Cathedral.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
This place on Rua do Franco not far from the cathedral has the very best Camino cycling shirts. They manufacture in their own factory, their brand is ‘Sportex’ and you can only get them from this little shop that they own……all their other business is wholesale to sports teams and the like. I have two of their shirts and they are terrific quality and last seemingly forever!

I've been to the store on Rue de Franco on three of my trips and looked at the jerseys. They are pricey, but oh, so beautiful! If ever there was a Camino souvenir for a cyclist, this is the one! But, each time I asked myself "do I really need another cycling jersey?" and I didn't buy one. Every spring when the cold weather cycling jackets come off I have regretted my decisions to not purchase a Camino jersey. I have seen a couple of people wearing them here in Western Canada and we have had some great conversations. Next year, I am going to buy two! Happy shopping!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

The only thing I would add is that he’s not always open…..they seem to open when they feel like it. There’s a WhatsApp connection number on the door to contact if they’re closed and he tells me that they’ll come down and open up if someone wants to shop.

I just saw one in a store close to the Cathedral in Santiago but I’m no longer there so can’t give you the name. I think you will be able to find one! Buen Camino!
