- Time of past OR future Camino
- 2012, 2013, 2014.
This is a video of four Irish men who rowed a traditional rowing boat (currach) to Spain to do the Camino. I had mentioned this before and this video popped up on FB this morning. Enjoy.

We have found the same with whaleboats. New ones have been built, and it's been a delight to observe my nephews competing in harbour regattas.the tradition of building, rowing and racing these boats has become very popular again and has kept local traditions alive.
Would love a spin Johnnie, ours are three handers so are smaller and lighter, but if you think I'm rowing it back to Ireland, good luck with that.
Wayfarer - they left the boat with me for safekeeping. Just let me know if you fancy a spin around Cabo Fisterra!
Do you think you could manage a shipwreck Johnnie?Oh I think that the boat boys might have a more exotic plan for a future adventure! Meanwhile I'm trying to get them to sail round the 88 temples on the island of Shikoku.
To be sure, through the miraculous intervention of Saint James, he'd be covered in scallop shells!Do you think you could manage a shipwreck Johnnie?
What I'd really like please is a photograph of Wayfarer coming out of the waves covered in barnacles.
Regards
Gerard
