I have postponed buying poles until I get to Porto. Was this an ok move?

I think I will be doing likewiseWe purchased perfectly fine poles at a good price at the Decathlon in Porto last year. We thanked them for their service and donated them to the Pilgrim House in Santiago.
They start at €6 each for basic ones. I've used them and found them quite adequate.Trecking poles here (Dallas, Texas) at REI run 50-100+ USD. How much do they go for at Decathalon in Porto?
Ive used them too. Cheap and cheerful but fine for helping balance. Although I have my own, I'm going to do the same as it is crazy to pay more than the value of the poles to put them in the hold. They are the telescoping type. 55cm long when closed.
