Buy the New Brierley Finisterre?

Time of past OR future Camino
First one in 1977 by train. Many since then by foot. Next one ASAP.
Some years ago I walked the Camino Finisterre with John Brierley's 2014 edition guidebook in hand. I still have that guidebook....

I'm going to walk the Finisterre again this fall. Should I buy the new 2020 edition Brierley guidebook? Have things really changed all that much? Or will my 2014 edition still serve?

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
I walked it with the piece of paper issued by the Galician Tourist office in Santiago. I can’t imagine the need for a guidebook. Your existing book complimented by the info from the Xunta should be ample. In my opinion.

Happy trails.

I have the 2016 and the 2020. there is not a great deal of difference, a bit more detail in some of the maps. The main difference is that the 2020 version includes the Camino Ingles, so if that is on your list might be worth purchasing.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Between the list that you can in the tourist office and checking out Gronze.com for their albergue lists and maps you should have all you need. If you want you could even download the Buen Camino app for free that will have that camino in it with a gps and map and list of services and albergues. It is really well marked so I doubt you ill need to worry too much about getting lost.
