Bus to sjpdp

Join the Camino cleanup. Logroño to Burgos May 2025 & Astorga to OCebreiro in June
Personally I wouldn’t worry about getting tickets early in April.

Do I need to buy bus tickets from Pamplona to SJPdP ahead of time? Do the buses fill? We will travel April 28.

I'm taking the bus on 4/25 and bought tickets, on line, in advance. There are only 3 buses a day during April from Pamplona to SJPP. Why take a chance?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
We just took the 1430 bus today from Pamplona. There were only 8 of us on board but you better pack Dramamine.

I don't know. Just be aware that Saturday 28 April 2018 will be a busy weekend as it's the weekend before Tuesday 1 May which is a public holiday in a number of European countries. I noticed a few minutes ago that the 60 bookable beds of the Roncesvalles albergue are all booked for Friday and Saturday 27+28 April 2018. No need to worry unduly as they have plenty of beds available that cannot be booked online. But it's an indicator for a busy weekend ... as it is each year.
Whoa! Thanks for the heads up on Roncesvalles. And we did get our bus tickets.
