Bus from Pamplona to Roncesvalles?

Is there a regular bus from the Pamplona station to Roncesvalles? Please only reply if you know of the website or phone # and if the bus is currently running this summer. Thank you!

The ALSA bus from Pamplona to SJPP makes a stop in Roncesvalles. Departs daily at 12:00. Use St. Jean as the destination and it lists the 5 intermediate stops.

True. But ALSA do not sell tickets to Roncesvalles and you are not supposed to get off there. Part of their licence conditions for this route is that you board in Spain and get off in France. Not supposed to be used for journeys that begin and end in Spain.

Why, then, do they list 5 stops? I’ve been on it 3/4 times. I honestly can’t remember if anyone got off along the way.

Because you can board the bus for the eastward journey at any of the stops on the Spanish side of the border. If you try the ALSA website it will allow you to choose Pamplona, Zubiri or Roncesvalles as your departure point but it will not allow you to name Roncesvalles as your destination.
 
I agree with @Bradypus. ALSA has a license here for international travel. If they stop somewhere to board passengers I suppose they can't stop you from getting off but you better not have luggage stored below. Also, they may not stop if they don't see anyone.
