Bus from Finisterre to Oporto

sun is shining

Hey all,

I've just got a quick question regarding bus transport from Spain to Portugal. So far the plan is to walk from logrono to Santiago and continue via Muxia to Finisterre. From Finisterre I would need to catch a bus or train down to Oporto.

Can anyone recommend a bus campany that goes straight from Finisterre or would I need to bus back to Santiago?

Thanks for all your help and advice!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
You will need to go back to Santiago to get the Santiago-Lisbon bus, which stops in Porto. There is one bus a day. It leaves Santiago at 10:30 a.m, arriving Porto at 1:30. Cost is 29 Euros.

Buen camino, hope you get a chance to see Porto, because it's a lovely city! Laurie

Thank you so much for your reply! I thought the ALSA would be the best option as well.

Very much looking forward to Porto, its a place I wanted to go for ages but somehow never managed it. Imagine how happy i was when i found cheap flights from Porto to London. My current plan should allow for 3 full days there before flying home.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
