Trying to work out best option for getting to SJPP in decent time to get my bearing.
1. Fly into Biarritz landing at 17:00 then standard trip to SJPP
2. Fly into Bordeaux landing at 10:00, then train to Bayonne arriving 15:30 then standard route to SJPP
3. Fly into Bilboa arriving 10:00. This misses the morning direct bus to Bayonne but is it possible to get a combination of buses?

Bordeaux trip seems best option just a shame that it's a long wait for the train to Bayonne

Thanks for any advice

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
PESA bus from Bilbao (Loiu) Airport to Donostia/San Sebastian Plaza Pio XII. Euskotren from San Sebastian Amara to Hendaia. SNCF train from Gare d'Hendaye to Gare Bayonne or Transdev bus from Gare d'Hendaye to Place de Basques Bayonne ... about a km from the train station.

You might find a bus that goes from San Sebastian to Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz Airport, or Bayonne that makes things more time efficient. Estellesa, PESA, ALSA (CONDA) all operate buses to one or another of these destinations from San Sebastian.
