Biking Resources from Porto on Senda Litoral, Coastal????

Hello to all and thank for this great resource. We're all booked and ready to depart on our first Camino out of Porto in September.
Planning to hug the coast as much as possible - senda litoral with some coastal and also spiritual variante BUT....I'm now having foot pain and realizing I need to figure out plan B which at this point I think means renting a bike...:( I love biking, but this is not what I'd envisioned - although realize it could be far worse! So, many questions in my recalibration - 1. Recommendations for where best to rent a bike in Porto? 2. What type of bike is best for proposed route? I've found many bikes that I've rented elsewhere are so horribly uncomfortable after an extended ride. My context I'm an active 63 year old female. 3. I haven't located a good bike map (been primarily using Brierley book for planning purposes), but clearly now need a different resource to know if there are limitations on our intended route for bikes as my husband plans to walk. Thank you in advance for anyone who can point me in the right direction!!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The two companies that I’m familiar with who can rent you a bike are Cycling Rentals and BikeIberia. Both companies will deliver a bike to your lodging in Porto and then pick it up in Santiago.

Brierely is a very good resource for planning your Camino. I also like the online resources of Gronze.com and the app mapy.cz. The terrain particularly on the coastal route should not present any difficulties compared to those for the walker. Your bike route won’t be any different from the one your husband will take walking. My bike preference is a mountain bike, but a touring bike would probably serve you well too. Talk to the people at the rental companies for their advice on bike type.

September is a busy month and it’s not far off. Hopefully, there will be bikes available for you. Bom Camino!

Here is my photo video from the Camino Portugues, costal route. We chose almost every opportunity to go Litoral - right out on the coastline. Only the day between Esposende and Viana do Castelo we...
Walking Litoral from Porto beginning 25 Oct. Will places to stay be open? Thanks!
