Bic phone: is it still being sold in Spain?

My apologies if this has been answered before, but is the Bic phone still being sold in spanish stores? I do not want to take my iphone (too much distraction on the road), and in the VdlP report by SYates I read that at different albergues you need to call the hospitalero/a upon arrival. Will be using skype and facetime on my ipad mini (wifi only) for occasional calls home, but I'm guessing that won't work until I'm in the albergue. I'm also guessing wifi might be a bit spotty in the locations where one might be in need of calling 112.
