Time of past OR future Camino
July 4th 2024
Hey everyone, setting out on the camino and was hoping to get some insight on best and/or cheapest way to get from biarritz to SJPP. I know you can take a taxi there but unsure how much that would cost or other options available.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
@Joshaa371 , welcome to the forum. Like most things camino related the answers are generally on here, a little bit of research will often find you the result far faster than waiting for others to respond. Just click on the magnifying glass top right, use the advanced search function, enter a keyword or phrase, tick the 'titles' or 'titles and first posts only' box and more often than not you'll find a solution.
A long way of saying the answer is found here:
Bus from the airport to Bayonne station. 1.20 euro - pay the driver. Then SNCF train to SJPDP - tickets from vending machines in the station.
It took me twice as long to dictate this response to you as it did to find the info!
But hopefully it will help you in the future.

Buen Camino!

Hello there!

Bus from Biarritz Airport to Bayonne trainstation: 1,50€
Train Bayonne - SJPdP: ~13€

Buen Camino and have fun!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
There were no buses (Biarritz to bayonne) available in order to catch the first train. So called an Uber was fab, 15 min journey 25e
