Biarritz to SJPP

Time of past OR future Camino
Setting off on the French route on Wednesday 13th June
Hi, I'm arriving in Biarritz next Tuesday and would like advice as to the best way to get to SJPP.

Thanks.

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
Bus to Bayonne and then train to SJPdP is easy enough.

Express Bourricot is also a popular service. You can post in this thread to try and arrange a taxi share.

Buen Camino,

Rob.

Local bus right outside the airport door will take you to the Bayonne train station where they will bus you (train doesn't seem to run anymore) to SJPDP. I have tended to overnight in beautiful Bayonne and get the first bus in the morning.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
When I was at the Biarritz airport last month on my way to Irun, there was a Pilgrim arranging to get a cab to SJPP. It took her about 5 minutes to fill a cab with other Pilgrims. She just started asking anyone with a pack on and actually ended up with more than the cab would hold.

Where do you like to stay in Bayonne. We are arriving Aug 29 and probably should book accomodations for that night in Bayonne.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
