Hello Everyone!

The Flights are book and I cant wait to start but have come up with an issue! My flight lands in to Biarritz at 1pm and I will miss the train from Bayonne to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Have looked into the next train but that wont get me into SJPP till after 7pm!! Also had a look into taxi share from the Airport but worried I wont be able to get anyone to help with the cost so I would be stuck with the 80 euro cost! Is there any other way???

Please Help

Darren

Well if you get into SJPdP at seven, along with lots of others I might add, then you have ample time to find a bunk or a room, leave your bag, freshen up if needed, then go out and enjoy a meal and a drink with all the other very easily spotted pilgrims, all excited about the walk the next morning! Is there a particular reason you want to be there any earlier?

What date are arriving in Biarritz? Day, month.? I have started a thread, I arrive 26 April 2015. I have ordered a transport to leave Biarritz airport at 15h45 to St. Je. Buen Camino

SNCF offers TER service, Transports64 offers bus service, private taxi hire includes Express Bourricot and
Biarritz Airport Transfers.

If these services don't work for you your only other option is to walk. Allow two days.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Make advance reservations for someplace to stay in SJPdP and it won't matter if you get there after 7:00 pm, and that's not really too late at all. Enough time to roam about, get dinner and a cold one.
Cheers
