I am very excited to be returning next week to start my 11th Camino.
On previous occasions when I have booked the late afternoon Express Bourricot shuttle from the airport, it has always been full of happy and excited pilgrims, just like myself.
The way the shuttle works is that the EU120 journey is split between the passengers, usually making the charge EU19/each.
But next Wednesday, August 7th, it seems that I am still the only one to have made a reservation.
I really can't afford to pay it all myself so will probably cancel unless things change and take the train from Bayonne instead.
So if anyone is flying to Biarritz next Wednesday afternoon, I'm on the RyanAir flight from London Stansted, why not get in touch so that we can share the fare ?

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).

I have not thoroughly researched it, but isn't there also a bus or train for this route?
I am on a tight budget so that type of transport would be too much for me.
Buena suerte y Buen Camino!

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.

Bus from the airport to Bayonne railway station then train (or sometimes a replacement bus) to SJPDP. Usually a few euros cheaper than Express Bourricot. A lot cheaper if the Express Bourricot shuttle has a light load for that trip.

This is what I did. Easy to navigate.

I'm aware of the Bayonne route (as mentioned in the OP) but much prefer the vibe and the stress-free convenience of the Express Bourricot shuttle. It always kick-starts my Camino and has become something of a tradition for me. I'm still just very surprised that I'm the only pilgrim, thus far, to have made a reservation for next Wednesday....

I've walked from the Biarritz airport to the train station. Took the 15 minute train to Bayonne and changed for a train to SJPP. No problem with the connection.
