Stayed here on 19 October. The hosts were superb. Very friendly and lovely food.
Unfortunately the rooms were not clean and the bed sheet and pillow cases looked used.
I came back from dinner and the nice host was checking the sleeping bag of another Pilgrim who was on the bunk above me. I did not realise what was going on. The Pilgrim did look a bit unkempt.
The moment I got into bed I started scratching. In the morning I noticed the unkempt Pilgrim in the bunk above me had welts all over him.
When we stopped walking today My back was covered in welts and bites.
We have done 5 Caminos and I have had a few small bed bug bites before. This is the worst case of bed bugs and unfortunately now it is only private rooms for me from now on.
The Albergue is the first Albergue on the right hand side as you enter Foncebadon . I phoned the owner to let him know.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Sorry to hear this. Stayed there in 2012 and found the then owners both friendly and helpful and the food was great. The owner did not suffer fools lightly and threatened to expel an over exhuberant pilgrim who decided to start singing during the evening meal.
