I have been informed by peregrinas by message that there are bed bugs both seen and have already bitten at Lourenza and Baamonde - both municipal albergues :(

Thanks for the information as I am just a few days walking away. At Baamonde there seems to be no alternative to the Xunta albergue so I'm not really sure what to do about it!

Just because some bedbugs were seen recently doesn't mean that there is still a problem at those particular albergues. And whoever brought them there could have by now spread them to other albergues!

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.

I walked from Vilalba to Santa Leocadia and stayed at the wonderful Albergue Witericus. They only have 9 beds, so I suggest making a reservation.

The name is Hostal Ruta Esmeralda beside the petrol station on the road leaving Baamonde.
Thanks so much, I've booked in. Hopefully those bed bugs aren't spreading too far further down the route.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
