Bed bugs at Albergue Barbadelo

Time of past OR future Camino
Planning to start Mid July
We stayed in room 6 at Albergue Barbadelo on 15th Oct. We found bugs in one bed upon arrival and the staff removed everything from the room even the curtains. However overnight I was bitten and saw 2 bugs. I then moved to an empty bed and got more bites but only found one bug. In the morning one other person out of 4 had bites. Seems the bugs are in the clean bedding.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Sorry about your bad luck! The bugs are likely in the walls or floors, or transported in your backpacks from the last place, rather than being in the clean bedding.

On the few occasions I have seen bed bugs they are crawling up the wall. I have never been bitten.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
