Beautiful Muxia!

Hi, I just got back from beautiful Muxia and have to tell you how much I enjoyed this part of the Camino. The walk from Fisterre to Muxia is beautiful through pine forests up and down quite a bit. I'm quite slow so I stopped in Lires. The bar people in As Eiras were so kind (I had a bad cold and they made me lemon drinks!). Muxia is one of my favourite ever places! The crashing sea, the rocks and the wonderful peace in the church. Wow!

Yes, Muxia was my favourite place to finish the Camino as well. Much preferred it to Finisterre.

Last year this day I sat among the stones of Muxia and watched a most glorious sunset.

I had intended to reach Muxia this year but I will next year.
Finisterre made do and I witnessed an awesome sunset.

Muxia is also one of my best places on the Camino.... I found it so tranquil and that sanctuary wt the backdrop was jz heaven!
