Hello everyone,

I was looking to reserve my train ticket form Bordeaux to SJPDP but I have a question. The train Bordeaux train that gets me into Bayonne and the one that takes me to SJPDP are 10 minutes apart. Does it leave me enough time? Is the train station really big or do I just have to move over to the next ramp to get in the train? Thank you for any information you may have.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
It is small, so ten minutes should be fine. French trains are very accurate on their schedules. Buses are being substituted for some trains on some dates, so check if you want a train or the bus outside the station.

As Falcon said the Bayonne station is small. The buses leave from the parking lot to the left as you exit the front door. The local train to SJPdP leaves from the track nearest the front door. In the past the local train ticket to SJPdP was also used as the bus ticket. You can buy this local ticket either when you purchase the train ticket in Bordeaux for Bayonne or at the Bayonne station. In the Bayonne station the ticket booth is in front of the main door.

Buen Camino!

Thank you for the information. I booked the ticket. I figured it's not a big thing if I miss the connection since there is another one later in the day. We'll see!
