Basic question about pictures in email

Hi, everyone
I have received many pictures over the years from camino friends and they are all on my computer in my gmail account, attached to the email with which they were sent. When I got a request to forward one of those pictures, I realized I should probably move them to my pictures files on my computer. However, I can't figure out how to do that.

Can someone walk me through the steps of getting a gmail attached photo into my pictures folder and/or into my picasa account on my computer?

Many thanks, Laurie

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Hi Laurie,

First question is what computer are you using?
Pc or Mac?

Lettingo

Edit:
Actually it's not that important...
Open gmail account - open mail with picture - at bottom of mail hoover curser over picture -
two options should become visible - Download / Save to Drive -
you want to Download it - Click Download and choose save file - where the picture is saved is something one can set up, so I don't know what your default folder is. You write down the name of the picture/file and after you download it make a search for that picture/file name on your computer. That should show you where the picture is located on your hard disk.

I hope this helps otherwise do ask again :)

You might find they are already in your downloads folder, can you explore folders, downloads and see are there misc jpegs there?
If not if you right click your mouse on the image and save as_to where ever you want and then upload them to flickr.

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
