This new book, Barefoot Disciple: Walking the Way of Passionate Humility by Stephen Cherry looks promising. It’s a continuous interest for me to ponder the values of pilgrimage and also to connect these with the values – or virtues – that we need to live well in this world. Humility seems to me to be an essential ingredient of incarnated humanity. On humility, Andre Louf’s The Way of Humility is important material for pondering, praying and living.
