Bag forwarding to santiago

Hi I am currently in Pedrouzo walking to Santiago tomorrow. I have booked àn apartment for tomorrow night. The apartment owner had just informed me that bag forwarding companies will not drop bags to apartments only to hotels and albergues. Can anyone suggest a way to get over this? Could I forward to a albergue I am not staying at? Thanks

It is generally discouraged to ship your bag to a place you're not staying. You're asking someone, maybe a volunteer, to assume responsibility for your things. And as you know, backpacks are often dropped off in an open space in albergues.

You might see if Correos's Paq Mochilla will ship to one of their pickup points.

I am not sure about the Frances route but on the Portuguese central my bag was delivered to albergues as well as apartments. On two days the bag was delivered to a nearby pub/ restaurant with whom they have an agreement. No problem there. I used Pilbeo and will use them again. Their information was clear and I could phone them when necessary. Great service.
