Well Deacon Jason, I was never partial to it but having tried it along the Camino Portuguese I was converted. If I am around one of towns in Galicia the same time as you, I'll buy you some. That will be my payment to you ordering in Spanish as I can't.Having not grown up with much seafood (my mother was deathly allergic), I have successfully avoided pulpo up to this point in my life. I am *almost* resolved to give it a go when I get to Spain, though.
Maybe somewhere I can find it fried it in batter so I can't see the suckers...

Lidl are currently doing a promotion on there Greek frozen range and I was delighted to find octopus in it and it's really good I have paprika I brought back with me from my Camino some olive oil and salt and hey presto .I have been feasting on Pulpo Irish StyleI was surprised to see this on the shelf in Tesco today (in Naas: Tesco Extra, a very large branch). It was lovely! Que aproveche!

I was in Pulperia Ezequiel in Melide and the owner gave me some of his own recipe paprika to take home so I close my eyes and think I am still there when I use it LolExcellent news.
