I am about to finally book flight tickets to Pamplona and back (am based in Copenhagen) - and this is done with a lot of trepidation - I will be way outside my comfort zone in doing this, but I have decided that now it must be. (Thank you all on this site for giving me the courage)
My question is whether June 2 - Ascencion day in the Danish calender - is a holiday in Spain?
The reason for my asking is that I will need to get back to Pamplona for a flight leaving on Friday June 3. And if public transportion will be more or less shut down because of a holiday, I might need to take this into account. I guess that I can get at least bus transport back from whichever place I may have come to in the camino - to a train station and then get a train onwards to Pamplona?
I plan to leave on May 28, and have no ambition to reach Santiago before leaving for home again - I see walking the camino as a goal itself - and may then come back later to finalize it.
Thanks for any information and advice that any of you good people may provide.
