Are Albergues busy on Ingles in Nov

Hello all,

After having to cancel my planned Ingles last month, now planning to do it 12-16 November. I have booked some accommodation, much of which is private rooms, but I much prefer the Albergue vibe. Not too much by way of private albergues avail so may chance my arm at the municpals. Give it’s the off season maybe there’s a chance it might work. I am a very slow walker so that may not help!

Any views please.

I guess you will be ok with Ferrol, Pontedeume and Betanzos. Bruma sometimes is tricky but the private one is an option.

Different private ones in Sigueiro.
I liked Camino Real.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
on my recent venture on the Ingles I was impressed by the sheer number of pilgrims. Far more this year than I have ever seen before. And yet the Hospis at Neda, Pontedueme and Betanzos all said that they saw pilgrims every day but were never full. Baggage transport and the growth in available, bookable, accommodations has changed the nature of that camino as it has many other routes.

I think you can be confident of a bed in any of the xunta albergues even if you stop for a decent lunch. An action I firmly recommend
