I am from Seattle, Washington USA and will be travelling from SJPP around Oct.6th or so. I saw that there are a few people starting mid-October and was encouraged to see this considering that some of the refugios may be closed.
My decision to do this was inspired by an opportunity to meet up with some friends in Paris around Nov. 21st and I thought to myself that maybe I could do this walk before meeting them. I have a picture of the Camino de Santiago map taped to a board in my bedroom that see it everyday. ...so I can't believe I willed it to be true!
I haven't bought my ticket yet, but plan to fly into Paris and take the train south to Bayonne.
Can anyone tell me how they are training to walk?
