Hello Everyone,

Can I send my fleece jacket with something for autumn to an alberge in SJPP?
If anyone happens to know the alberge in SJPP or elsewhere on this way,
please let me know it.

My walking starts from Namur on Mid July and if everything goes well
I will get SJPP end of Sep. But I don't want them bother me from the beginning.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The albergue L' Esprit du Chemin closes on 26th September. The new albergue du Pelerin also closes at the end of September/October.
You can send parcels to the Post Office and they will hold it for you.

Address the parcel to yourself, as your name appears in your passport (which you will be asked to produce when you collect it). They will only charge you the cost of a local stamp when you collect it. The address is:

Your name
Poste Restante
64220 St Jean Pied-de-Port

French post offices will only keep letters etc. for 15 days. Details are here: http://www.laposte.fr/Particulier/E...xpedition-et-garde-du-courrier/Poste-restante
Maybe a friend or so could send a parcel which you have prepared before leaving? My sister did that for me and it worked well. I started in July in Germany and was in SSPdP in September, so I think you are right in not wanting to carry very warm things from the beginning, although it can be surprisingly cold in summer evenings. I also put travel guides for Spain in the parcel and sent several parcels with things I didn't need any more (diaries, maps, books) to my sister.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
