Anniversary Lunch

Our plans in December and the beginning of January were to be walking the Camino de Invierno for our anniversay (29th) this year. Best laid plans had to be changed. Today we were going to walk at home in the mountains, and I was going to surprise my husband with bocadillos and canas. Alas, the weather is not cooperative, so our front porch had to suffice for our lunch. It was good, but it would have been better along the camino. Still planning and dreaming, and hoping that everyone is staying safe. My tortilla skills are getting a bit better, but nothing like Bar Tita in SdC or Bar Cerveceriz in Madrid.

No recipe, just thin sliced yukon golds, salt, pepper, good olive oil, and eggs. But I do have a tortilla pan which makes flipping the tortilla very easy. (Unless I forget to heat up the top of it on another burner while I am cooking the tortilla- then I just have scrambled eggs and potatoes!!)
