this is NOT an attempt at brown nosing, but something I think we can't say too often.

Our moderators are amazing, patient, informed, hard working people.

As I look at the number of posts I go through each day, I began to realize that there is a moderator behind the scenes who has to keep up on each topic in the forum.

Our fur may get ruffled when we feel chastised or stopped short, but their goals are to keep US on topic and keep the forum on its principles. They do this untiringly. And each has shown a wealth of knowledge of the Camino.
If I get fed up with the tone of a thread, or tired of hearing the same topic over an over ( and I have only been at this a year!), I can merely not sign in until my curiosity gets the better of me. They are obligated by their commitment to keep reading and keep an eye out. I'd be willing to bet that they are not paid either.

So all this hard work comes out of their sense of charity? Of passing it forward? Of desiring to share a gem with others?
For whatever reason, my unending gratitude for your perseverance, and the gift of your knowledge, time and patience

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I think the moderators have the patience and dedication of saints. Many thanks from me, too.
