I've always offered to bring the intentions of others along with me on my Camino and have found a few ways to 'bring' folks along with me ( in thoughts and prayers ) . 1) I used a simple cotton bandana ( .99 cents ) and had people write their names or intentions on it with permanent marker...I had signatures from 95 yr olds and newborn baby footprints, I had the school stamp from a local Catholic Elementary School that followed my trek, co-workers, family, friends, patients in hospice, etc... 2) I carried or wore that bandana the entire Way, sometimes putting it in photos to let the signers know they were there too, along with me. Folks were delighted to have been remembered during my walk.
It is one of my most cherished walk relics and will be fashioned into a throw/toss pillow in my Camino Room.
