This popped up on my screen when I went looking for the SJPP gear shop. They have a page specifically set aside to reserve an Altus or anything else you need to grab last minute.

THat's what I did in 2019. I reserved online and they held the Altus till I got there. They're great in that little store!
 
Back in September 2019, we (my husband and I) ran into a snag at the start of our Camino.
Not to bore you with the details but Boutique du Pelerine saved the day and our Camino! Excellent customer service!
 
I've been using google translate to communicate with him via email (he got back to me right away). He always responds in English, which is not necessary of course, but I just think it is so kind and I am grateful (I've got frazzled nerves at this point, so soon before I fly). He's been really helpful and I am so glad I ended up using this shop.
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
