CF 2012, 2014, 2016. CN 2018, 23 Via francigena 23
Another hot 🔥 start to the day and onto the forested roads.
Today I walked through lots of Olive groves and amongst Rock Pines.
The course was relatively flat until the last 2 kilometers which were ALL uphill leading me into San Miniato.

I remember that climb well; the first of many on this stretch through Italy. You've done this before, Bob, so you know what to expect; quite a few "hill"top villages will end your days.
