ALSA strike may complicate bus journeys to and from your Camino

The bus company ALSA are having a lot of buses cancelled because of strikes, and this may go on for a while. Most of the cancelled buses seem to be the ones most convenient for business travellers, with early morning departures. See https://www.alsa.es/hidden-navigation/aviso-huelga/ for updates - Spanish only!

We got an e-mail (in Spanish only, of course!) asking us to check, and our bus from Madrid on Saturday morning had been cancelled. Fortunately, they let us change to a later bus free of charge.

If you have plans to take an ALSA bus in the next few weeks, please check the website, especially if you have already ordered tickets. That one e-mail in Spanish was the only warning we got, and the buses that DO go seem to be filling up quite rapidly.
