hi I am starting Camino Inglés soon
I fly into Santiago and hope to get bus to Ferrol arriving around 730pm
I’m wondering will there be spaces left at the albergues that night to start my Camino journey?
I’m not a new pilgrim have walked Camino four times before just never arrived this late?? Any advice helpful, I cannot book a room at albergues do that not an option. Otherwise I stay in a hotel ..

No one can tell you if all 60 beds at the albergue will be full when you arrive. I would book a room to be on the safe side, and to get a good rest to start your Camino.

I would call the albergue and ask them how full they’ve been. They should be able to give you a good idea of your chances to get a bed. For example, we’ve been full or almost full every night or we’ve been averaging 30 and we have 60 beds. Buen Camino

We were in the identical situation as you arriving in Ferrol in the evening. As it was Semana Santa we chose to reserve a hotel room that first evening not knowing if albergue beds would still be available arriving that late. A very reasonably priced downtown hotel that we chose was the Hotel Alda El Suiza. Very modern and conveniently located near the Camino. Although we had traveled from the States starting the night before and were quite tired, we did treat ourselves to some excellent seafood for dinner at O’Galo just a couple blocks from our hotel.
