hello all
This is my 5th camino and I have read through all of your great resources (thank you)
I'll be doing Porto to muxia in June (17) but wanted to do a bit of coastal followed by some interior. I would like to revisit and walk into Tui since I visited last year after a camino.
Anyways...my questions is my route will depend on albergues. I love staying in them for the feeling and avoid hotels/pensions as much as I can.
I would like to start in Porto along the coastal route...perhaps until caminha (but only if there are albergues along the way).
I know there is a new one in Vila do Conde which will be day 1.....from there I am uncertain...but always trust in the way.
Thank you for any advice.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hello There is plenty of accommodation on the Coastal route. I stayed in new albergue in Vila do Conde and then youth hostels in Fao/Esposende and Viano do Costelo. They are a good option and other pilgrims stay there too. You don't need to be a member and if you book direct they have pilgrims discounts. There is also an albergue in Viano and Caminha. I then walked up to Valenca but wished I had continued on the coast. I saw a number of other albergues as I walked that weren't marked on my map - so I think there is more and more coming on line all the time.
I walked May this year. Enjoy. Mel
