...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
When I was there last year there was a nice municipal albergue which I can recommend.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
If you are not after an albergue, try the Hostal La Terraza www.hlaterraza.com

Not luxurious, but fairly clean and breakfast provided.

A good idea to break the Pontedeume to Betanzos stage in two and rest in Mino, which I wish I had more time to do. Lovely beach and seaside

Correction:
Oh my, not thinking of M i n o ...sorry was thinking of Neda.

Sorry.

Albergue is not bad there. Has washer and dryer. Also clothes line. Walk up the hill from Albergue and eat at the cafe on main highway. Woman who runs the place is wonderful.

I did not sleep inside the Albergue. I slept outside in my hammock. Set it up outside the Albergue. Suspended between two poles on the "porch." Could have set it up in the tree area. There is a small table in the tree area.

Loved the place. Small town but nice people there.

Watch for pedi bridge to the Albergue from main highway from Ferrol. If you miss it you will cross the river on the main highway bridge. Not that much out of your way. But the pedi bridge is nicer.
