Hi. Wondering if anyone has stayed at a place called Plan B at St Jean Pied de Port. It is well rated on Booking.com but isn't listed in any of the camino guides or apps. Cheers

JoyM,
According to Booking.com Plan B is located at 28 rue de La Citadelle, ie. on the CF. On Google maps this is the address of a resto, Comme á la Maison. PlanB is cited here on Gronze as a Chambre d'hote.
If you do stop here please do add your review to the forum.
Happy planning and Buen camino.

Hello
We stayed at Plan B in June 2022. it was a great place to stay, the host was delightful and in a classic style building just steps from the Pilgrims office. We opted for a private room and it was very comfortable with a semi private bath.
It consisted of two buildings one with the reception and a nice courtyard behind and the other which has a restaurant and we really enjoyed the pilgrim meal there
We certainly would recommend staying here.
Regards

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Hmm...wonder if this is some kind of chain? I think we stayed at a Plan B in Belrado once.
We stayed at Hostal.B in Belorado back in 2019. Not sure if it is different from the Plan B referred to in this thread. It was quite nice! Very modern rooms and just off the main plaza. We were very pleased with our stay there. If this is a chain and there is any similarity between different locations, I wouldn’t hesitate staying at the one in SJPP. The reviews seem quite good.

No chain, the one in Belorado is called Punto B and is run by the incomparable Joaquin.
He offers bunks as well as single rooms and cooks nice communal dinners. One of the most welcoming places along the CF and in true accordance with the Camino spirit. Keep it a secret.

Btw: In SJPdP, another nice place (rooms only) is La Villa Esponda (it's on B.com), a perfect start.

Hi Just wondering if anyone has pictures or knowledge of the 4 person room please. Are beds very close?
Pull Outs or proper beds?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
