Time of past OR future Camino
a few since 2010
Tomorrow I go to Barcelona and plan to start walking on Saturday. If all goes well I will be walking from the coast at El Port de la Selva to San Pere de Rodes, on to Monserrat and then via Huesca to San Juan de la Pena and onto the Aragones. I will blog whenever possible. It is http://notdunroaminyet.blogspot.com
I am technologically challenged so how frequently I post remains to be seen, how far I walk also.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Wow, Sulu, this is definitely one of those Caminos I've been eyeing. Buen camino, or whatever its catalán equivalent is, and please keep in touch. San Pere de Rodes is one of the most beautiful places in Spain, IMO. Laurie

Like Laurie, I've been eyeing this route also!
I'll enjoy following your posts!
I don't know about the rest of the walk, but the first day through Montserrat is spectacular! I walked to the top 2 years ago and was hooked!

So many routes, so little time…
Buen Camino!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Thanks to both of you. I've been eyeing a few as well, but this one is going first, maybe next year the Levante?! Then there's ????

Hi sulu. How many kilometres is it approx from BCN to Sdc en camino ? How much time do you have available ?
I hope you are able to post occasionally. Annie

Now here's someone to make us jealous.
Good travelling sulu.

Hi Annie, It's about 694 t0 Puente de la Reina then abou 740 from there to Santiago. I'm aiming to be in Burgos by Easter and then going to Santo Domingo de Silos, after that I'm not sure what.
I can't wait to get started, I got my credential from next to the cathedral today so I'm ready.

Great stuff. You're there!! Good to hear back I will look at your blog spot too to see how you go. I'm continuing to learn on this forum. Geography lessons to start.

Now it begins for you. Buen camino Sulu.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
It was wonderful. I can't say I loved every moment but over-all this is a camino not to be missed. Fantastic :)

It looks wonderful. I've just been on your blogspot. I'd had trouble before with the link but have been in via safari. Some great pics ! I am in awe of anyone taking such long walks solo.

Sulu, I am going to resist the urge to start pouring through your blog and dreaming about the Cami Catala, while I am in the midst of planning for the Olvidado/Invierno in June. But at some point, I'm sure it will be very helpful as I figure out the same question that hits you every year -- which Camino this year?!

Welcome home, and thanks so much for all the information you've provided here for future pilgrims. Buen camino, Laurie

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
