A new year another Camino :) combo

Time of past OR future Camino
Coastal Portuguese via VE ´22 Camino Fisterra ´22
Hi all,
have been reading a lot on the Camino do Mar and Ruta del Cantabrico on this wonderfull forum, already asked some questions before too.
Now a blank A4 is being filled with first notes and possible stops, etc..
Our other Caminos w've been doing together, my wife and i, using luggage transfer, since this service is not available on the Mar and probably will not be just yet we will just carry our stuff ourselves or i might do it solo , not decided on this yet.
this is the rough plan:

-Day 1 to 7 a combination of Mar and Cantabrico from Ribadeo upto Espasante, only struggling with 1 stage which i find a bit too long, this is San Cibrao to Viveiro which is around 30km; want to split in 2 but do not find any accomodation sofar.
-Then by feve from Espasante to Ferrol and further to Pontevedra to start the Ruta del Padre Sarmiento.
Continue on Ingles would make more sense but we've done this one last year and we just love walking by the coast.
This would be another 6 or 7 days, will probably include the pilgrim boat from Vilanova de Arousa to Pontecesures.
- while i'm writing this think adding a stretch of Norte before Ribadeo is also an option, oh choices ....

Any thoughts/recommendations?
Thanks, Marc and Christel

Hi @ChristelMarcAntwerp22. I walked a mixture of the Ruta do Mar / Cantábrico in 2016 so my info may be rather out of date.

only struggling with 1 stage which i find a bit too long, this is San Cibrao to Viveiro which is around 30km; want to split in 2 but do not find any accomodation sofar.

I walked from San Cibrao to Covas which was 29 km. But I noted in my blog that I stopped for refreshment at a beach resort Praia da Area at approximately 22.5 km, and it is possible you could find accommodation here or organise a taxi to take you on to Viveiro, which I understand is a very pretty town that I sadly passed by.

You can take a look at my stage on Wikiloc here

This route is spectacular. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. .

Hi Magwood , thanks for the advise!
have read your blog already which was inspiring, meantime Dave had posted updates on the Mar, have his Cicerone guidebook. On with planning now!

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 30 to April 2
I walked the Ruta do Mar in September, 2022, about 5 days worth. It's a beautiful route. Here's what I posted after my walk:

Enjoy! And happy planning!

Thank you Cat sounds fine to me!
