Camino Frances 2008, Le Puy route (TBC)
Hi everyone,

I'm back!

The past 5 months have been interesting to say the least! As some of you know I had to postpone my camino due to injuries. Since my last post I ended up having an operation on my ankle. I had an ossicle (loose piece of bone) removed. Roughly the size of my pinky nail. My physio says I'm on track with my recovery. I'm out training now. I went for my first 2 hour and 20 minute walk over the weekend and my body is feeling good.

It's funny where life takes you in the meantime. I'm fortunate to be able to take 6 months leave next year, woo hoo! Now I have all the time in the world to complete this majestical walk. I can't wait! I'm more ready now than I ever have been! My plan is to commence this route late May 2014.

It's lovely to be back on here again reading other people's posts. Thanks again for all your wonderful support and kind words.

Hope you're all well and life is treating you kind.

See you around the traps,
Sonia

P.S. Ivar, I love the new forum setup!

Hi Sonia,
That's great news about your problem being fixed. All you gotta do now is be sensible with your training so good luck with that.
There's a few planning on late May 14 as well as you. You might like to catch up with the Class of 2014 thread.
