I always confine my photographs to the photographic section, but I hope no one will mind me posting this here. I photographed this image of myself recently on the Camino Primitivo high in the hills of Asturias between Berducedo and Grandas de Salime. It is a "Brocken Specture" or the technical term is Anticorona. The image is projected into the Sky and not the ground, and is also know as a "glowing Halo or glory rings". I have never seen one before in realty. I attach a Wikipedia description. Have many other Pilgrims come across this on their travels? The image is not altered in any way. I found it a delightful experience. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brocken_spectre Hope this will be of interest to other Pilgrims.DSC_4364 (1280x857).webp Magic moment on a pilgrimage.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Very nice photo...I noticed it on the Primitivo also...must be all that morning fog/clouds

Extraordinary , thank you for posting this with the explanation . I once saw such a thing at the tender age of seven , it scared me silly and until today I really did think that I had imagined it . Now if all the other strange occurrences in my life could be explained !
