Walking the Norte made us realize that Spain is a collection of quite a few culturally different regions, Basque country, Cantabria, Asturias, Galicia and more. We just watched a movie last night that emphasized these differences. A romantic comedy that gave us some insight into the sense of humor of Spain. Spanish Affair 2 on Netflix in the United States https://www.netflix.com/title/80093212

I like both of the movies as well, and laughed so hard when Rafa had to give Koldo a piggyback ride through the Madrid train station. Oh dear. Lots of good humor and observations of Spanish culture, although my Spanish friend really doesn't like the movies because he thinks they generalize and stereotype too much. Oh well. But like you said @backpack45scb, they give good insight into the Spanish sense of humor!

Can't wait to check it out as I've not heard of this movie before!

Just loaded both to my Amazon queue.

It really is a fun movie. A local mentioned it to be while in or around Zarautz, so when I got to see it on the bus back to catch my flight I was thrilled to get the chance to see it.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Bummer for me! I watched the trailer, but there are no English subtitles on it. I hope the movie has subtitles or I will be "outa luck"! :(
