Insufficient privileges?

I see this message occasionally

‘You have insufficient privileges to reply here.’

why does this occur?

It shouldn't happen on that section David, (equipment) it does happen on the section devoted to helping business's only, even the mods can't post on that section. @ivar might check for you.
Edit: Try clearing the cache and refreshing the page.

I just moved that thread out of “live from the camino” to “equipment”, so I wonder if that had something to do with it?

If the thread number at the end of URL changed that definitely would explain the problem Henry's human companion had.

For example to get to the top of this thread this is the URL to use.

If the number remained the same then something else must be happening.

BTW, you only need the number to get to the page; the forum software strips out the text part which you can see by clicking thos incorrect link:

Yes, that definitely happens. So happy to have one little mystery solved, whether it’s for a dog or a human being.
