100% agree!With 7 days, I would start in Irun (or nearby Hondarribia) and walk to Bilbao. This section is challenging, with some beautiful coastal scenery and includes the wonderful towns of San Sebastián and Bilbao.

You can only get a Compostela for walking the last 100km of any recognised route into Santiago.
It doesn’t matter how many kms you’ve walked up until that point - if you don’t walk the last 100km, and collect a minimum of two stamps a day - no Compostela.
