Hi everybody,

I'll be on the camino Frances this november. It's the first time I'm going to walk from santiago to muxia and finisterre (in 2010 did it by bus). I'm going to walk the route in 4 days total. 3 to muxia, 1 to finisterre.

Can anybody tell me where I can find the distances between villages in this route?

Thx Marcel

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
It's remarkable what a day can bring when walking from Finisterre to Muxia two weeks ago.
In Finisterre, at the lighthouse, the seas were stormy, the wind was blowing, the rain was falling and, although I was happy...I was wet.
On the walk into Muxia...the clouds departed, the winds turned balmy and the warm sun made me very happy.
I did not rush from SdC to Finisterre. I took my time and it paid off.
Buen Camino,
Arn

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks falcon! This was exactly what i was looking for.

Thanks Arn. Im really looking forward to this part. How many days did you give yourself? Looking at the overview 4 days is really doable for me. I will be walking astorga-SDC in 7.

Welcome, Marcel!

Here's my research (June 2014) on distances and albergues from SdC to Muxia & Fisterra and in between them - as Al the optimist already suggested. Hope that helps a bit!

Of course if you are a real glutton for punishment it is possible to walk Negreria to Muxia in one day. I know because I have, but that is a different story.

Three days to the coast and one between the two destinations is quite normal but it is worth thinking of taking two along the coast and stopping halfway at Lires.

Even for people who don't stop at Lires, consider a short detour off Camino to have a coffee and enjoy beautiful sea views on the beach. The first time I walked between Finisterre and Muxía, I have to admit I was a little disappointed that the Camino is almost always away from the coast. But no matter whether you walk from Finisterre to Muxía or Muxía to Finisterre, there is a well marked turn-off to take you to the beach at Lires. No backtracking required. The bar is open every day in tourist season.

I´ve got some pictures and more information on this thread: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/com...on-santiago-muxia-fisterre.14568/#post-230466

Buen camino, Laurie

Thanks I'll try to think of it! The stretch sounds really good!
