1969 Classic - The Milky Way - now available on DVD

The Criterion Collection, a continuing series of important classic and contemporary films on DVD now offers the 1969 Classic The Milky Way (La voie lactee) on DVD.
The blurb reads:

The first of what Luis Buñuel later proclaimed a trilogy (along with The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Phantom of Liberty) about "the search for truth," The Milky Way (La voie lactee) daringly deconstructs contemporary and traditional views on Catholicism with ribald, rambunctious surreality. Those outside N America should note that Criterion only produce DVDs in region 1 format. If your DVD player/TV can't handle that, you're better off with one of the Buñuel box sets in your local format. At least here in the UK, you can rent them for a few pounds a month.

There's a good essay on the film on Criterion's website, though.
